About the Host
Carol Adam, CHIM, PMP
Founder, True North Circle
Carol Adam, CHIM, PMP is the founder of True North Circle, where she helps Canadian healthcare organizations trace data-quality problems back to their source — across clinical documentation, HIM, coding, systems, and reporting — and implement improvements that hold up in the real environment.
She is a Certified Health Information Management (CHIM) professional and a PMP-certified project leader based in Collingwood, Ontario. Carol co-authored a chapter of Fundamentals of Health Information Management, the textbook used across Canadian HIM college and university programs, and previously served as Ontario Chapter Chair of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). She currently contributes to IFHIMA's Digital Health Community of Practice, working with international partners to advance digital health.
